Beta achievements

The open beta included its own Steam achievements — collectibles that tracked beta participation and early milestones. Beta achievements are separate from the full game’s list and may not transfer.

Full achievement list

The complete Steam achievement list is confirmed at launch. Based on the original Mortal Shell’s 31 achievements, expect a mix of:

  • Story achievements (defeat each boss)
  • Collection achievements (all 8 Shells, all 8 Sidearms)
  • Skill achievements (perfect parry chains, no-hit boss fights)
  • Exploration achievements (visit every location, light every beacon)
  • Upgrade achievements (max weapon tiers)

100% completion checklist (planned)

  • Defeat all mandatory bosses
  • Defeat all optional bosses
  • Collect all 8 Shells
  • Collect all 8 Sidearms
  • Fully upgrade every weapon or one weapon to max
  • Complete New Game+ (if achievements require it)

Achievement hunting tips

  • Hardening through a full combo is likely an achievement — practice early
  • No-heal boss kills need a specific build: consider Eredrim + maxed health Tarstones
  • Use New Game+ to mop up collection achievements at your own pace
